It's Been a While
As you may or may not know (or care), I haven't updated this blog in, um, ages. So I will now, before school starts and I don't post again until Christmas. No joke.
There really isn't much to say here. This summer has been a states-ish kind of summer, having gone down to Oregon to camp, and again going down for PAX, aka the fest of the nerds. :) Needless to say, PAX was pretty cool. Although it was really crowded and hard to get into anything, it was still pretty fun. They had lots of presentations (we saw State of the Industry and RvB), as well as all the new games shown off such as Jade Empire and Halo 2. *drool*. I think this expo may have pushed me past the line to suck it up and buy an XBox.
...
Okay, so it wasn't the expo and I'm buying it strictly for Halo 2ing purposes. Happy?
I stayed at Drew Hamlins house during PAX, and along with that got to meet his family and STRANGE friends. I think that was pretty fun itself, since PAX was very limited in what you could do. So limited in fact, that we only got in the things that we did because we budged in line. Woo.
Oh, and there was Oregon. Can't forget Oregon. Yeah...
School starts in a week, and I can't say I'm happy with it. I think I'll try harder this year, as my grades last year were far from impressive. But doing this also means I will have 0 time for things like programming (sorry Wallet fans, it'll be a while yet) and posting to this blog.
That's all for now. Have a good Canadian Thanksgiving (October, sheesh), and rock on.
