Intense Heat
Over the last week it's been almost unbearably hot and humid - wearing anything more than shorts would cause myself to melt. Hopefully it'll rain or something soon (come on, this is Vancouver, it's going to rain sooner or later!).
Which would I rather be during the rest of my life - too hot or too cold? I'd choose too cold, because you can always warm up in a number of ways (put a jacket on, light a fire, etc). But becoming cold is very hard compared to becoming warm. Plus you can get sunburns if you're out in the sun too long. And maybe it's just the Canadian in me poking out. I'm not sure.
And school's finally out! I have more time for things like pulling my hair out, also known as programming.
Finally, something new from Apple. So I thought I'd post about it here.
There has been a lot of controversy recently over illegal music downloading, the RIAA and the iTunes Music Store. In the USA and countless other countries, this is illegal and some corporations are hunting single people down. Canada has ruled such acts perfectly legal, however. They argue that it's no different than listening to the radio. Some artists even think p2p sharing is good for them, it helps people find their music.
