I hate to say it...

But I totally called it. Resolution Independence in Leopard. (see my previous post if you missed it) Woo!

As expected, this will be accomplished using both vector graphics and high-resolution bitmap images, most likely in ICNS format. There's some more exclusive interesting information on the AeroXP Forums and TechPedia. I'm starting to wonder why this wasn't mentioned during the keynote.

The moral of the story is: what's the best part about not being able to go to WWDC? (age restriction) Being able to talk about this stuff.
But, uh, exactly how is it any less of a rumor than when it was a rumor?
Just because it's talked about on AppleInsider now doesn't mean its a rumor. It is in the developer seeds of Leopard. Notice the term "leaked." :)
General Leopard question: How will Time Machine work without taking up insane amounts of hard drive space?
"As a world wide exclusive, AeroXP has received information detailing several of the API improvements to Leopard"

I'm not saying it won't be confirmed ultimately, but for me that still qualifies as rumor :)

coder: I'd imagine you would use Time Machine with an external hard drive so that you do not fill up your startup disk. Time Machine's sole purpose is automated backup. Going back through time is icing on the cake.
