Starbucks Invasion!

I was driving around downtown the other day, and realized that there seemed to be a Starbucks store on every street corner. At one intersection in Vancouver (Robson & Thurlow), there are two Starbucks stores kitty-corner to each other (the only location of such thing in the world). I thought I'd somehow driven into Seattle, but I counted a total of eight stores just on my way home.

Starbucks has a nice store locator on their website. Curious, I entered my home address, and chose a 50-mile radius. It turns out there are 203 stores within 50 miles of my house! Now that's a lot of coffee.

Looks like Vancouver is turning into the next Seattle. (Our weather has not been great lately, either, for the record).
With that many Starbuckses, the whole city should be one big T-Mobile hotspot!
Unfortunately T-Mobile does not exist in Canada, and here Starbucks has Bell hotspots instead. Thankfully there are plenty of other (free) WiFi locations around town. :)
