Weirdest Movie in a While
I went and saw Team America: World Police today. It was uh, interesting, to say the least...
I think Roger Ebert puts it best:
First off, very good puppet work. String puppets are things that haven't been in movies much before, and they make a pretty cool effect in this movie. They even had puppets controlling puppets. Also, the puppets themselves were at least 50% of the humor, aside from the oral jokes.
This movie had LOTS of puns on the middle-east, Korea, and even France (which is to be expected in a movie like this). There was also many jokes involving famous actors, we'll see how far this goes without a legal bash from Hollywood.
Anyways, I'm not going to sit here explaining and spoiling the movie though (actually I'm just lazy). If you like South Park and you're not easily offended, this movie is for you.

Like a cocky teenager who's had a couple of drinks before the party, [Parker and Stone] don't have a plan for who they want to offend, only an intention to be as offensive as possible.
