Music Downloading
There has been a lot of controversy recently over illegal music downloading, the RIAA and the iTunes Music Store. In the USA and countless other countries, this is illegal and some corporations are hunting single people down. Canada has ruled such acts perfectly legal, however. They argue that it's no different than listening to the radio. Some artists even think p2p sharing is good for them, it helps people find their music.
And thank god I agree. How is downloading music illegal? There's nothing more "morally" wrong about it than finding money on the street. If anything, it's uploading music that should be illegal.
But buying music is still easier. You get the correct tags, and cover work etc. Overall, in Canada at least, it is (and should be) a choice, not a crime.
